Corundum (Alumina) is one of the hardest and most heat-resistant ceramic materials. While standard ceramics soften at 1200°C, our dense alumina honeycomb remains structurally sound and chemically inert even under the searing heat of industrial melting furnaces and hot blast stoves.
The Dense nature of our alumina means it has a much higher volumetric heat capacity than lightweight alternatives. In heat exchange systems, this allows for faster thermal absorption and release, reducing energy loss and cutting fuel consumption by up to 40% - 50%.

Proper Stacking: Ensure the honeycomb blocks are stacked tightly to avoid bypass airflow.
Thermal Ramping: While corundum is highly durable, a gradual heat-up cycle is recommended during the first commission to eliminate residual moisture.
