This square cordierite honeycomb ceramic is purpose-built for high-temperature, cyclic exhaust-gas purification in industrial lines such as paint-baking, printing/coating dryers, burner tail gas and VOC abatement units.
Using a low-expansion cordierite body (2.0–2.3×10⁻⁶/K) and a thin-wall square honeycomb structure, it tolerates rapid temperature swings from 850 °C back to ambient without cracking, while keeping pressure drop low. The square monolith format makes it easy to load multiple blocks into exhaust boxes, RTO inlets or purification chambers. It is a reliable option for OEMs who need stable exhaust cleanup, not only heat storage.
Built for hot exhaust – continuous service up to 1300 °C, suitable for burner flue and curing-oven tail gas.
Excellent thermal-shock endurance – 850 °C → 25 °C, 3 cycles, no crack; ideal for lines that start and stop daily.
